Question: I am going to develop Java programs for wireless devices and found a number of Java technologies for that:
- PersonalJava
- EmbeddedJava
- Java Embedded Server
- J2ME

Could you guide me what should I chose?

Answer: Actually this list is not fully correct - Java Embedded Server does not let you develop programs fro wireless devices. It was designed for small business servers, printers, copiers and point-of-sale (POS) devices such as vending machines, gas pumps, kiosks and cash registers. it can be run only on Solaris, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Linux (JDK 1.2), and VxWorks. This technology is obsolete...

PersonalJava as well goes to archive also, no future in the future .-)

EmbeddedJava joins this company as well.
Your choice is J2ME!
